And the Winners Are

Thank you to everyone for making Pawtucket Celebrates Poetry a successful and rewarding event particularly The Three Amigos — Rick, Lisa, and Tom for sharing their last reading with The Pawtucket Arts Festival; to all the poets who submitted their poems and sharing your talent. Most importantly I would like to thank the Pawtucket Arts Panel for making this possible with their grant and the Pawtucket Arts Festival for their support in promoting the event.

And now it gives me great pleasure to announce the winners.

My Father Asks For One Last Thing

Telling My Father

My Father in The Rustling Trees

Second Place: Karen Haskell “She’s Tough”

Third Place: David O’Connell, “Elegy For Galway Kinnell”
